About C2C CTF 2021
The International Cyber Security – Center of Excellence (INCS-CoE) is delighted to announce the 2nd international, Country-to-Country (C2C) Capture the Flag (CTF) competition. This is the second of a five-year academic plan to host cyber-security competitions in five different countries. C2C will extend past experiences and lessons learnt from the successful Cambridge2Cambridge CTF, with its global vision to entice thousands of people worldwide to study cyber security at university-level.
C2C will be an exciting opportunity for students to work together as international teams to solve interesting CTF challenges, while learning new skills, socializing, and promoting international collaboration and friendship.
C2C CTF 2021, organized by the Technion Hiroshi Fujiwara Cyber Security Research Center will take place online.
The inaugural C2C was hosted online by Royal Holloway University of London on December 2020, and the third is expected to be hosted by The Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Through a qualifying process, students will be selected to compete individually in the qualifiers event on August 10th, 2021. After completing the qualifiers, students will be organized in teams of five students from different universities to encourage international academic collaboration. These teams will compete in the final competition on August 31st, 2021.
The competition is part of the educational program of INCS-CoE, which is
dedicated to international collaboration and friendship between academia,
industry and government in the areas of research, teaching and data sharing.
